How many times have you said you have to move but the thought just paralyzes you?

You would like more companionship.
You would feel more secure knowing you had access to care when you needed it.
Your home does not provide the best environment for your physical needs anymore.

How can I move my furniture into smaller living quarters?

Think about the number of rooms you really use:
the family room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

If you measure the square footage of those four rooms you may find some of the apartments are the same size if not larger.

How do I get rid of 30 years of belongings?

There are companies you can hire who help you go through your belongings:

checkmark_16_04 they help you donate what you do not need.
checkmark_16_04 they provide a junk dealer to haul away what you do not want.
checkmark_16_04 they do an estate sale, or hire a person who does.
checkmark_16_04 they help you pack and unpack.
checkmark_16_04 they hire the movers and arrange for the move if you desire.
checkmark_16_04 they can help you set-up the new apartment.

Do I go or do I stay?
Should I wait another day?
The house is so comfy, I love it quite clearly,
My things and my treasures I'm devoted to dearly.
My books and my paintings, my living room chairs,
My oversized bed and my tables in pairs.
So many memories spread over the years,
So many laughs, a sprinkling of tears.
It takes courage to leave all the good stuff behind me,

"But the fence needs replacing", my daughter reminds me,

While the leaves have been falling
The gardener's been calling. "No cleanup" due to excess in rain;
I see the storm has loosened a window pane.
The railing outside is shaky and loose,
Some shingles have fallen off the side of the roof.
The basement's a mess, I'm developing stress
And I still can't decide-is it no? Is it yes?

Is there room in the village for a pack rat like me?
I will make the decision responsibly.
I will visit Goodwill to make countless donations
Of what's gathering dust in forgotten old spaces.
I will sort, I will pack, and then do it some more.
I'll decide what I need and the rest I will store.

So do I go or do I stay? I will not wait another day.
The decision's been made-Lasell it will be.
An exciting new home that will set me free.
